Hello.. First up I am 100% positive that there is absolutely no one out there reading this so i'll just ramble first. Its been a LONG long time since i've been here and so freaking much has happened since the last visit.. Well I've finished my diploma in community welfare and development with psychology majors AND i have moved onto doing a Bach of Science with A double freaking major... Psychology and Counselling...yep.. i have taken a full blown leap off a massive cliff.. but you know what.. I got this shit... I can do it... and yes i am still creating some art and scrapbooking.. will be attending a couple of retreats this year to get me out of my comfort zone and into a creative zone....

A little series that started as a random purchase of some Dylusions Die cuts, combined with a Mixed Media mood board..... yep.. loved how free this process was.. i could do something totally different without a care in the world.. WINNING right freaking there...
they all have a little message held within them....

yes i am still creating for them as part of their design team. I have just been extremely lacking in the blog part... so this is the MAY.. yes MAY... mood board and it is so so cool......

inspiration came from the bottom corner.. and my love for mixed media background and watercolour art flowers... so i started with creating the background = clear gesso with ink... I LOVE the transparency of these two products mixed together...
added a couple of flowers, watercolour and inktense pencils and faber castell pen.....
and i finally got some photos printed. this was a maternity shoot that i did with Pheobe way way  back in the end of december.....
added the quote which was so so appropriate for a new life entering the world..

"A beautiful reason to be happy."

and the mandatory close ups...

a Resin Rainbow heart... it is actually on the page backwards.. just felt that the B side was more suited...

and see that...... a Freaking sparkling GOLD bow (rainbow splendour of course because Chloes products are amazingly awesome....) but wow so girly for me. I have hardly ever used gold but here it is... rocking it out.. oh and the cute little crochet flower was also included in A Rainbow splendour kit.....

so there you have it.. my scrappy and artness.. and then i should share.. reasoning behind my art piece Trust....

and here he is... 123 days and wow.. 

i have had all my faith in that i deserve love and happiness has been restored...

 I have found an ADVENTURE buddy.. someone who is kind, amazing, gentle, super sexy and well someone who i am completely comfortable with.. he makes me laugh, smile, cry (good crying not bad) and wow. just wow. people come into your life when you least expect it. sometimes from somewhere you would never have pictured.. but i am blesssed...

so we are onto a new year which always means a new start.

well I'm back for another term at Show Us Your Stuff 

{they must be suckers for punishment}

so for this new year we have a mood board..

So I took my inspiration from the splash of red and the dash of summer and sand.

The pattern paper is from Cocoa Vanilla Studio along with the paper flowers, paper cloud, title and the film strip. They are all part of the hello lovely range.. which is so so good...

 this photo is so old of Ivy but its still one of my favourites. 

and heck  yes its so different for me. 

i loved creating it though which for me is pretty much the most important reason for me to create. 

and some details for you.

New challenge time at Show Us Your Stuff....

HELLOoo.............

a big hi to whoever is out there in blog land that stops by...

new month means a new challenge at Show Us Your Stuff....

and May's challenge is super easy.. 

its a sketch.. look at that cutie...

{{don't forget to add your hand made embellie and all is sweet as cherry cola.}}

 well most of you know.. i like to do things a little different.. 

so yes my take on the sketch isn't quite.. um... conventional...

so i flipped the sketch.. 

created "layers" where most would use pp with ink and resist with candle wax.

and then.. 

just added more textures... 

and then a super cool.. well i like it cluster...

 Just so you can see the cluster... i've used more ink, embossing powders.. staples..

and my hand made elements.. a Heavenly Heart from Charms Creations..

a Cork Polaroid frame from Rainbow Splendour {LOVE IT}

and an old fabric button from Lil Red Rocket.. oh how i miss LRR.... 

so there you have it..

create something awesome..

so being pretty my initial reactions was

well after the initial shock I thought..

well it is a challenge so just run with it..

so I just decided on pastels and ran with it..

its crazy just like Ivy... and a bit pastelly....

{yes I made up that word..}

Show Us YOUR Stuff.. but today i'm showing mine...

Hello..... 

its mid month reveal for Show Us Your Stuff....

February kicked off with an awesome Challenge.. 

 for me it worked. .it happened so easily..

the thing that hit me was Circles and Patterned Paper...

so I cut and sewed some circles out of patterned paper. and then moved onto creating a background, finding the 3 photos and then i'm usually using a few different alphas in a title so that one was easy and then well handmade. YIPPEE>..

so i really should show you what i created...

 see.. i really really liked how this one ended up. 

 having recently brought my first lot of charms creations after admiring them for so long.. they were perfect... 

and a heart from Charm.. oh and that super cool camera flair from Dlish... yay

 and then a shot of my messy floor just coz i like some dimension every now and then..

I'm, back at Show Us Your Stuff...... {a little late i know}

WHHOOOOOPS my bad...
but not really I've only just got a computer back after almost 2 whole excruciatingly long months of not having one. so I'm back in the land of blogging.....

so I have news .. yes its a little old but still news surely!!..

Anyho.

I am no on the Show Us Your Stuff design team.. yay ME..


so my first assignment was a sketch.. and we all know I love a sketch..

 

and this is my take on it...

"Delight"

yep. I played with the background slightly and instead of patterned paper I've used a felt polaroid and heart from Rainbow Splendour plus some little extra bits and pieces from my stash...... its been so long since some of these have seen the light of day.
also added some microbeads with embossing powder on the scrapmatts florish.. I likes how that turned out.

as some of you already know the January challenge has closed for Show Us Your Stuff but the new February one has started and I must admit that I had fun playing with it..
I will be back on the 15th with my reveal .. but don't wait head on over to Show Us Your Stuff and give it a go...

guess what its the start of a new month... 

so start of a NEW challenge over at Show Us Your Stuff......

and the challenge is a simple and FUN one.. 

use the word EXCITEMENT in your layout.. 

{yes.. excite, excited etc can also be used}

oh and the "paint" squiggles on the page are actually ...... Liquid Pearls... 

yep straight up random out of the bottle.....

First up I just let some drops of ink go where ever and then drew around them and added some for extra effect.. must admit I like it and it probably will be used again.

i actually did this one whilst having a play at Maria Featons place the other day.. came together so quick and easy.. oh and can you spot the Rainbow Splendour in there as well.. woot woot.....
and then a just because layout.. i was in a mood..and well i got it out of my system by creating something for me..

YEP.. some Pattern paper, some Rainbow Splendour , some Lil Red Rocket twine, and then alphas and washi tape and mist.. wallah..
