and i am here to share..
i recently set the challenge at the Boxx to scrap something that is a big deal in your life... so here is my example....

and since its been a little while... i used the February Boxx sketch for the inspiration.. have a look you can kind of see it there..... hehehee....
Some closies.. used my favourite hand made products again!!!
some ScrapMatts clover leaves, a Mimiko Mim flower. some Lil Red Rocket button and the flowers at the bottom of page, a Bow from Rainbow Splendour and the bird {below} and doiley from The Chip Chop Shop...
a LOOOONNNG title.. i love these.. i reckon they look great..so give one a go........
see... how coolio is that flower from Lil Red Rocket.. also the ferns are from ScrapMatts....yay.. and then the other day .. Tarj got asked to one of his new preppie buddies birthday party..so i had to make a card.. yep.....

Family Plus....

first up.... YAY yay YAY to lil me... i have had the ...well.. not quite so bestest but pretty good.. well if you take out the mind numbingly boring task of sorting out toys from Tarjs room and packing them..then YAY i've had a good day.. why.. coz...
the House has gone unconditional!! yay..{well that was Friday..but i've been slack on here..}
and then today i had a real estate call and SOMEONE wants me.. yep someone is going to rent me a HOUSE.... woot woot...... yay.. and yippeee.... ok..so enough of that.. oh hang on.. this is it.....can you see me in it.. well i can.. its got everything i need .. including a SUPER sized office.. how good is THAT..lol..... so anyho....onto the most important thing.. a LAYOUT..yep.. finished anothery.. {actually been working on a few lately... dt for FEB since all my posts are scheduled for the start of the month and thats when i'm moving..but anyho.....}

todays is all about October Afternoons Farmhouse collection.. yep .. another layout for the Boxx to show this collection off..

well this one is totally different from my first just so you can see how you can use it in so many different ways...

i'll be back with some more one day soon.. oh i will still be online.. computer and supplies will be packed last.. and they will be set up at mum and dads and then at my new place straight away...!! lol..... oh i didnt say.. i'm moving to mum and dads this weekend so i can give the house a great clean before settlement..so basically it'll only be a week in between and i'm sure i can handle that.... oh i am SO excited to have my own place.... yay.. one where i can come and go as i please and not have to feel like i have to explain my every MOVE.. yay... ... oh ... just to update.. house goes unconditional tomorrow.. {fingers crossed}..and i move into the place mum and dad are renting {coz no one want to rent one to me..well at the moment anyho...} NEXT weekend..yep you heard.. NEXT weekend...

what i actually came here was to show you a layout i have been working on for the boxx... i chose to use OCTOBER AFTERNOON for my manufacture watch for the month.. mainly coz they are a heaps awesome manufacturer but because i so WANTED to use their new range...... FARMHOUSE... {go HERE for the bunting one..and then while your there.. get the rest... TRUST ME}
so i played...and created..
"Starting Today"
YES................. that is AL-FOIL..you know me. try something and like it and then use it to death... so its back..and i still LOVE IT....closies..
LOVE the flower packs.. look at these awesome colours.. just layered up.. and even its own lil LOVE YOU sign... so simple..and woot woot...

and then the journalling that started it all.... thanks to certain.. and yes you probably am one of them i have caved and am now a PINNER.. yes.. pinterest... yep.. anyho... i FOUND the quote that i used on the journalling tag there.. just printed it out onto a tag an wallah... love it..

well.. heeeellllooooooooooooooooo..... i'm here to share a little bit of fun with you.. {oh and a rand may be at the end..sorry...}
well to start with .. this one is all about the Lily Bee Design MEMORANDUM collection kit... i got this as my showcase for a manufacturer watch over at the boxx.... and how fun is it.. full of cool classics and some fun but not super bold prints....
anyho. i went with the not cool basics and a splash of not so bright pattern... added some super FUNKY photos and wallah....

and then some closies... {the only things not in the kit. the paint {obviously, the black card, thread and the technicolor title thats Echo park and the tags}...
so there you go.. a 6x4 photo at the top.. some black paint .. and some super RANDOM but planned well sort of ..as i went along planned stitching.......

and then a couple of mini prints.. cool hey.. i must admit that i really like the way this all came together..wooohoooo i 'm lovin a layout... sweet as.. its the first time in ages that i've liked everything about a layout... woohoo.. HAPPY dance..... so thats it on the scrappy front..

BUT i just need to get this out .. so sorry suckers... fast forward to the comments if you want.. so ... is it just me or does anyone else feel somedays .. why.. why the crap am i a mum.. dont get me wrong i love my kids..they are almost all i have..but seriously there are days where i just think why the fuck.. when they just dont want to listen.. when they yell at me... or when after finally having enough of not getting listened to i loose it and ORDER them to bed.. well tonight took the cake.. i ordered to bed... but gave them the option of givin mama and papa kisses before they went and yes i'd still read them a LITTLE book.. so what does Tarj do.. he gets up and kicks the wall...seriously.. YOU are only 5.. holy crap what kind of attitude are you going to have in a few years... {and yes needless to say he WASNT read any books}... but .. i just wonder.. why.... ??? i know i shouldnt complain they are pretty good kids... and they are smart... granted Ivy does talk alittle too much..but mostly they are good..so why do i doubt somedays on having them.. i hate that i think it sometimes... and then they'll look at me or ask for a kiss or just do something funny and then i forget ...but is it normal to feel like this.. i know everyone has their bad days..but please someone tell me they have minutes or seconds when You think that...and i'm not insane..please.. oh and anyone who knows me KNOWS that i would never hurt them so please dont ring the child protection unit... i think that i will be better.. in about..oh i dont know as long as it takes me to finish writing this...but.... just a big fat BLAH... so thanks for listening..and i just had to vent..sometimes i hate not having someone here to actually say these things out loud..but then again i'm not sure that i would actually SAY them if someone was here... anyho.. thats it...

challenge take 2...

you remember a couple of posts ago it was my turn to set the challenge over at THE BOXX for the fortnight and i'd done a layout for the example and i hated it.. {thanks heaps for the lovin by the way ladies}.. the inspiration is the work of body artist Emma Hack and anyho i did another layout to make up for it.and this time i went on a whole different track... i focused on her backgrounds.. they look like wall paper.. so bright and superbly fun.. so thats where the inspiration for this comes from..

oh i KNOW how cute is that photo.. our daycare was lucky enough to have this years photos taken by LaBelle Photographics and i love this one of Ivy... so cute...{{oh oh so sorry for the dodgyness of the photo of the layout.. overcast day today.. whoops...}

OK so yesterday was a big day if you are into the whole Scrapbooking Memories Masters... the masters got to OUT themselves...and after a morning of speculation and a little game by me.. {hehehehe}... some super excitement for me when some of my closest scrappy friends were announced.. so congrats to my peeps Renee Iveson and Kim Jeffress.. and also to the super tallented Leanne Allinson..and then dont forget the one i stalk and drool over the most.. the super human Louise Nelson..

i am so excited for next years mags.. {appart from the fact i already have a few commissioned..lol} the diverse range of artists this year is amazing .. i am so EXcited for each and everyone ......... yay...

ok.. so there you go.. i have no other news at the moment.. still nothing on the house... still nothing goin on in my life.. yep.. i know.. boring... but i did go and see the uber tallented Belinda Lowe for a haircut and you all know how much of a superb job of them she does.. so .. by for now.. its just started to RAIN which is crap coz i'm supposed to do an outside photo shoot this afternoon.. DARN IT......

and i went out on a limb.. me.. seriously.. yeah i know..totally out of the blue that one......so the challenge is to have a look at Emma Hack and then use something from her work as inspiration.can be the colours, the way the figure gets lost in the background. the amazing things she does...so anyho. here are a couple of example.... {and yep i would definately get my clothes off if she made me look this amazing....}

so how fun is she.. totally amazing..the details are beyond belief... so any ho i got totally lost in my head when i was doin this..had an idea and for the life of me i just couldnt get it to work..so this happened.....

yep.. totally YUK... i hate it ..but you have to show the good and the bad.. well thats what i say.. no throwing it in the bin for me......

so onto other things..... i am ok.. yes .. on tuesday.. not such a good day..and i managed to do 14 totally random useless crap facebook posts..bet that was fun for you..lol..but today was a good day.. i smashed it at work..got shit loads done.. which was good coz i got called in for an extra day.. since you know so big fat old guy is apparently coming soon and as anyone in retail knows how fully sick that is..... lol.... so sorted my areas targets out for december now just got to smash them as well.. yeehhaaa... anyho. thanks to some special friends for all their lovin and special attention and i dont mean to harp on but i thank you.... seriuosly....

and now a share...over at the boxx there is an awesome sketch challenge each month and this is Novembers sketch....
and i came up with this..
"Round and Round"
super fun background that i created with a simple raw 12x12 piece of chipboard, a The Crafters Workshop template, some texture paste and glimmermist.. finished off with random stitching and doodling.. closies....

top corner... oh and the brown edging and colouring to the chippies is some Tim Holtz distress stain.. just having a play really and liked the results...

oh did you see the sketch.. yep you guessed it i turned it on its side.. i had originally planned to do it normal but then after i created the background it was screaming out to me changed..lol....

so anyho. how's your weekend going..?? i've had an awesome one thanks.. my friends Geli, Lisa and Renee came up from Brissy for the night and they brought the funny Gilly with them and we headed out on the town in Toowoomba.. yeehaaaa..lol.. anyho we were joined by Tracey, Belinda and Jo for dinner and then BB and Jo went home and we HIT the town...well not really but we went out and shook the dancefloor...lol.. was super fun and now i am tired.. boohoo.. the pitfalls..luckily i have no plans for tonight... SWEET...... so some movie watching and basic doin jack for the night for me.. oh and then we have another open house tomorrow.... so that will be a clean feast tomorrow morning again.. {not that the house is messy..it never is.. but its got to be JUST right you know....}.....

oh and before i forget.. yep i successfully didnt get anyones numbers last night.. although seriously it wasnt about that last night it was just awesome to go and have a good time with people that you dont usual do that with.. just wish the girls all lived abit closer coz i love it when they are around... but boohoo...!!! oh and YEAH i'm goin back into hibernation......... i was letting myself out for that one night and then ....... well you never know...lol.. okay..enough of my ramblings... i'm off... have a great Saturday, Sunday or whatever day you are visiting me..

helloo.. i'm back... i just wanted to share a layout that i created for Scrapboxx for our manufacture/product watch.... and i chose to highlight the Pink Paislee Mistables series of stuff... {Plus i cheated alittle bit and added some other gear.. you know me, i seriously struggle with using one collection/brand on a layout.. i know my bad...}
so this is what i created..
"I Love You"
and some closies....

i made the flower by misting a strip of the medium sized scollop strips with two different colour glimmermists and then did the whole pull the ends together with thread to create a flower.. added one of the fuzzy vinyl stickers and a button..sweet hey..PS the butterfly is from Clear Cut Crafts......... AND then...

some more scollops... 1 strip glimmered and the other left raw and then drew with pen to create an outline..
and there.. can you see the mask.... the black bit.. hang on .. maybe scroll back up the top and have a closer look.. but i first up misted the mack black through the middle..and then stuck the fuzzy vinyl tree on there and it was just alittle white.. so i just squirted some yellow for alittle extra zing.....

and yep.. i've done the whole tear thingy again... i know ..and whoops..but if at first you dont succeed try try again..lol...
