Scrapmatts DAY....

well i dont have much.. just one actually ..i've already shown you the rest....
so here goes..

yep that photo again.. and for this i used a recipe for our local group.. so NO pattern paper eek... but yay.. loved playing with this one.

the title.. and scrapmatts.... i used the middle cut out of the Clock faces and then some flourishes joined to it..and then coloured it with black..and then cut it.. wallah.. i liked how this ended up...

i CREATE...lol.. actually i did..

well lookie here.. i've created.. i started this one today and it was looking like well... burnt toast.. really burnt toast.. so i had a nanna nap..it was that frustrating....
and den i came out and grabbed my big tub of flowers etc and just pulled a packet out and then stuck something somewhere.. ahhh problem solvered....lol
the challenge i was doin this for is one that BB set.. this is it.. "my challenge to you is to scrap about being UNDER THE WEATHER - how it changes things for you, what you most like as a comfort, whether it happens often or rarely .. anything you feel that is realted to this..."
and i'm sure if your a follower you've noticed the crapness of my feelings lately.. so this is about starting to CHANGE a few things...

i did actually think about calling it.. SHUFFLIN...coz you know that is my fav {And a few others i've noticed..ps..Crystal}}.. but i went with get happy...

PLAYING at BB's...

went to BB's Friday and SAturday night this week to {cough..cough..} help her study and do some scrapping.. so i've shown you 1 of fridays and now for Saturdays.
for part of our local scrap apples group.. BB has set the challenge..and in it was a 2 page instructions for a blind challenge..and Hooley dooley was it a doosy.. needless to say i didnt quite follow all the instructions.. well the first one was a piece of Black cardstock for the background and then a white with black piece of pattern paper...lol.... so here is what i managed...

well i really like the end result even though it doesnt HAVE very much of the materials on the list.. yep NO butterflies, Pearls, Lace or the basics..lol.. its called artistic licence... LOL...
anyho .. some closies.... i used a HEAP from the October Afternoon 5&dime range and some Basic Grey chippies.. all from The Scrapboxx....

the photos.. and the banner title... yay.

a wee bit of journalling.. i really had fun with this one..even though i'm not very good at following instructions..lol.

oh oh..and i have FINALLY started my masters entries.... well i'm part way through one of them.... yay... how are you going????

CAndy came for a visit yesterday..and we scrapped for a while..i mean i so EEK that lady.. she is the most awesome scrapper but just hasnt the time at the moment..but 1 layout completed and a couple finished so you should be seeing some new stuff from her real soon... well fingers crossed...

the side..my BFF tracey gave me these cork coasters AGES ago and i have finally used them...

and i put this one in so you could see the height.the photo is actually high on one side and then on the other is right down at background level....

AND THEN..

super excitement.. our local scrap group had a challenge last month to scrap someones page..and BB got me..yay.. and it was a random draw.. how awesome.. and this is her creation.

isnt it just GORGEOUS.. i love it and YEP its straight on the wall..yay..........

and then we have the cover of the most awesome Birthday present ever .. {if i do say so myself}.. the Scrappy girls all visited for a weekend alittle while ago and since it was BB's birthday we organized to do a page each for an album for her.. and i got to do the cover...

i think she likes it... {she did have a few tears when we gave it to her}....

i am sure that she will get around to bloggin it real soon.... but until then you just have to put up with the cover..yay...... {oh and that super vine is SCRAPMATTS.. of course}
