welcome to a mixed bag today..lol..
first up.. Scrapz.biz is having a melbourne cup sweep... so i thought i'd have a go..here is the criteria.....use this sketch

and i managed to come up with THIS....

When i picked up my last order from Heike she asked why i get these A4 book board sheets.. well this is why..you can cover with heaps of texture paste and glimmer and it DOESNT buckle..perfect ............
there is my twine or ribbon.. and a ScrapMatts Frame... alittle simple stories alphas..
YUMM... i knew when i saw the inspiration that i HAD to use one of my Clear Cuts Butterflies.. which also reminded me of HOW i really NEED to order some more... eeekk......
and then some playing for the background with Texture paste that i stamped the heart in.. waited and waited for it to dry and then coloured and drew around and then finished with the liquid pearls.. [wouldve sewed but its WAY too thick for the sewing machine...]

so yeah i have been creative.. this one i actually finished on friday but you know work has gotten in the way until to day to post....

"Learn From PaPa"
one of the challenges last month was to create some layouts with our secret santa pressies... and this is my second layout... the stuff i got was {can you believe it Tracey.. we had to pic numbers out of a hat and i got HER..LOL>>>>} was the bling, the letters and the bulldog clips..

for the letters they were originally white or black designed.. and only 1 of each letter in the pack which created a WHOLE other set of problems..anyho.. upon this dilemma Belinda said why not paint the letters.. Me.. Derrr you idiot... so i coloured them in with sharpie pen.. sprayed some glimmer and then coated with dimensional magic to give them that marble effect... cool hey.
i spy some Lil Red Rocket button and a The Chip Chop shop mushroom button..yummy..and the journalling... this girl has her papa wrapped VERY tightly around her little finger...
oh ohoh... another Lil Red Rocket button.. the cherry one..its so cute... oh and most of these flowers came from the super gorgeous and utterly tallented Sandra Wallace...
a HUGE bow for something different yumm.. you see i'm alittle weird and totally random...

so thats about it from me today.. Mums away with Jess in NSW gettin ready for her to move house and to help while Ange is away ... so that means.. i'm here to scrap guilt free.. for 3 weeks ... lol.. just as long as the house is super clean for when she gets back and i cook tea every night and dad has clean AND ironed clothes for work all is good.. bring on the scrapping... {oh so i just had to do a little online order just to make sure i have enough supplies.. LOL.. i really should use what i have first..but hey.. a sale is a sale...lol...}
