new month means a new challenge at Show Us Your Stuff....

and May's challenge is super easy.. 

its a sketch.. look at that cutie...

 well most of you know.. i like to do things a little different.. 

so yes my take on the sketch isn't quite.. um... conventional...

so i flipped the sketch.. 

created "layers" where most would use pp with ink and resist with candle wax.

and then.. 

just added more textures... 

and then a super cool.. well i like it cluster...

 Just so you can see the cluster... i've used more ink, embossing powders.. staples..

and my hand made elements.. a Heavenly Heart from Charms Creations..

a Cork Polaroid frame from Rainbow Splendour {LOVE IT}

and an old fabric button from Lil Red Rocket.. oh how i miss LRR.... 

so there you have it..

create something awesome..

think outside the square..

and most of all

LOVE this photo of Ivy.. she has been spending alot of time in my bed..starts in her own and then wanders in.. well YAY for me at least i have someone to share my bed with..lol... and in winter its not too bad. this particular night she came in REAL early... Early enough that i wasnt even asleep yet..just layin there reading...lol.. so i just HAD to take a photo of her..i used my Leme camera on my iPhone.. LOVE that.........

kept this one really simple....

i really liked how i used the Crate frame to frame a part of the pp diecut.. i was impressed with myself.. it looks good..

anyho. on ONE last night i want your opinion.. I've well been checking out this guy.. not sure how i feel..but was wondering if you think in this day and age its okay to ask them out?? or should i just wait and see... oh i dont know.. i hardly know him..but he is REALLY funny... oh and YEP have been goin out abit ... LOVE it..but then feel alittle disappointed when i get home and yet another NOTHING.. no hellos.. well anyho..
my MOJO is on a break at the moment.. i HATE that... really HATE that.. hence those Facebook friends amongst you know that i have been seriously bored and updating with random crap ALL the time.. heheheh.. suckers..... and Nope my dress hasnt arrived yet so i cant say if it fits or not..... so until then .. BYE for now.... oh and guess what i did the other day. we played soccer on the saturday night and then went out afterwards..got home at 2.30 up at 7.30 and felt really good.. was a GLORIOUS day.. sun was out and was warm so i thought bugger IT.... so i went and go myself a mag, a bottle of coke and a HUGE packet of tomato sauce chips {{i know ..NOT good for that DRESS..lol}}...... and then i went and found a random game of soccer and laid in the sun for a few hours and read my mag and watched soccer.. {PS previous mentioned male was playing... } anyho. it was glorious... oh and i thought to myself that if i went and laid at somewhere like soccer i wouldnt look like such a dick for being a NIGEL.. it was ok.. sun was good but in the end YEP i seriously DID feel like Nigel..but anyho. enough of my ramblings..
i'll see you all again soon no doubt.. happy days.. oh and DONT forget to head on over to Bird to check it out.. i personally would LOVE to win one of the TIDBITS IN TIME kits..they are amazing.....

well HELLO.. yeah i know..long time between posts...well instead of doing a S U P E R long....post today i've decided to break them up alittle..so only a moderately LONG post today..HEHEHE..suckers...lol
so the most ever so freaking talented Jules asked me to do a sketch for the boxx for June... so this is the sketch i did....

NEXT weekend..which is this weekend coming.. which is only 6 more sleeps is the Scrapbooking and papercraft expo in brissy..which i bragged alittle while ago that the most amazing FRIEND of mine got me a ticket into Louise Nelson double class..and so i NEEDED some more photos.. requirement.. they HAD to be super funky.. so bring in..my Niece.. slightly amazing and super funky Serenity....

well i think she is gorgeous..now to edit and print them in time for the class...lol..

so as previously mentioned i WILL be back in a day or so with my JUNE book of You pages...

oh and i managed second game of soccer today.. FULL game playing Centre MIdfield.. i mean seriously what do they think i am.. like 12..andyho..and i WENT out on the town..well for alittle while with the Yunngins from work..they are fun and gorgeous so i played NANNA for the night..hehehe..so i'm thinking the goin out thing was heaps fun and i really should do it more often...yay.. okay then enought of my babbling brooks.. The Boxx Sketch...

This month the AMAZING Tanya Tahir created the sketch for the month over at the Boxx ..

and i know that i cant win or anything...but i JUST LOVE a good sketch... so here is

woohooo... the new crate toy box and Emmas shoppe ranges are so so so CUTE...i just had to turn the sketch on its side..i just couldnt possibly do it the right way up...lol...
a closie of the photo and stuff..

i left that HUGE space beside the photo for Tarj to write his name.. but when i asked him.. he well wrote it SMALL .. typical really..so then i needed the brackets to highlight it.. doh..but still looks pretty good i reckon...

the plane ... and i have a thing for alittle punched bit at the moment.. {i created 3 layouts yesterday and i'm pretty sure all of them have a punched bit..lol..}

Anyho.. thats about it for me for the day...... off to soccer training tonight with BB .. i really NEED to start exercising properly again.. isn't it amazing how you feel really crap if you dont do it as much.. eek..and YUK....

so its the start of a new month..and the super TALENTED Michelle Fowler has created some super sketches..and this one is no exception.........

without further ado here is MINE.. heheheheeee....

well what do you think is it close to the sketch..lol.. seriously i just turned it sideways and squished it into a corner..LOL... but i love the end result....

you know whats coming next so i'm not going to say...

oh and i just had to show the letters... i have a little thing for micro beads at the moment but i'm sure like the glitter thing it will go away slowly and then return..lol....

OH and i made a card as well.. for Serenity's birthday..
i used one of the {ATC10-012} Dress Form ATC series avaliable NOW at Scrapmatts.

close up.. all little butterfies out of websters vellum. and i love how the wings turned out with micro beads {of course} and more of the sand art sand that i stole off of the kids..lol.
