super ScrapMatts day...

i have SOOOoOOOOOoooo much to share today your in for a Loooonnnnnggggg one.. so get some snacks.....
its my scrapmatts day and i've been working really hard at becoming a better member of their Design Team... so here goes..
first up a layout..

again..some closies.. {i did warn you....} this time i combined a few of my favourite things.. Scrapmatts and Lil Red Rocket...
Lil Red rocket button with some of their bakers twine wrapped around it....
and a Lil Red Rocket Flower......and the frame is scrapmatts......

the title.. admit that i was stuck for a title for quite a while ..but then thought this will do... lol.

and then shock horror... a CARD..yep you heard right a CARD... thought i'd get into the whole leap year and its ladies turn to ask guys to marry them etc.. and dont stress i have no one to ask but hey.... still gotta put it out there.. lol

"Sail Away"

yep slightly masculine with a girly type question.. bahahahaa...
some twine wrapped around the wheel and then a Lil Red Rocket button to help finish it off..
and LASTLY .. yep i know..thank goodness for that..

a Canvas.. i've actually made this for my good friend BB.. but shes away at the moment so i cant give it to her..so maybe she'll see it here first.. lol. {oh yeah..not totally happy with it.but it looks ok...}

not sure what it is that i dont like..just something..lol.... closies. (suckers)

my stunning niece Tosharn at her formal... gorgeous isnt she....
some closies.. used a gorgeous flower from Mel P at Headbands and clips.. i just asked so very nicely just for the flowers and not the bands so i didnt have to cut the flower off.. LOL... and also a cute Pink gingham button from Lil Red Rocket...
and some super dooper fun and OH SO gorgeous Scrapmatts.... used the gorgeous frame and butterfly from CB4006 Frames and also the dress form CB6037 dress forms.. love the way this ended up.. and the background is one of the pink paislee mistables..

well thats all from me today.. hope you enjoyed this one.. its pretty girly hey...lol...

got some happy mail today and the weather isnt fantastic so i'm hoping to finish a couple of things and get some new stuff started... woot woot..

"Our Happy Day"

sorry it was so hard to photograph.. so chunky.. but i had fun building and creating the drawers and then building the layers to put the photo on...
on the right.. with the mini book in it.... {one of each of the drawers on either side opens.and the other is stuck in the open position}
the left side..
see the height... its about 5 cm high i suppose...
with all the drawers open..so there you have it .. you've now seen all my masters entries.. oh but i havent shown the one in the mag yet.. i'll do that soon..

and NOW for my happy news.. well most of you know already due to facebook.. but my house is now UNDER CONTRACT..yes alittle premature in the happy dance.. i know i should wait but i just couldnt help myself.. so in 12 more days it will {fingers crossed} be unconditional..and then boy you will see a HAPPY dance.. might even have to film it.. LOL...

so anyho. thats it.. my life is heading in the right direction .... well a new direction.. bigger and better i say... lol.

123 Challenge...

its a new year so i've decided to expand myself and start doing some of the challenges again...... so i looked a few up and the 123 Challenge caught my eye..... {and so did the examples.. Crystal Gouldings in fact..}

Technique - SPLATS, [paint, ink or mist]
so i created..

yep.. the Al-foil from Crystals hit me.. so thought i'd try it for a background....... closies...
the title.... scrapmatts JOY word...
the photo...and the Doiley up the top is a felt doiley from nd

and the paper doiley at the bottom is Lil Red Rocket...
and then the dress form from ScrapMatts.... simply covered with some Twine from Lil Red Rocket and the silver is actually Liquid pearls.. love the effect....

so there you have it...my first challenge completed for the YEAR.. yay to me...lol...
