rambling...

everyday i'm shuffling... so yep..thats about me at the moment.. just Shufflin..think i want to run but not sure..?? do you ever feel that way when your just shufflin through and just accepting things as they are.. ?? or as they should be?? and just well... staying the same.. i have just watched 500 days of summer.. i really liked it.. but got me to thinking.. am i shuffling,, ????

and to add to that.. OMG if you've seen the show you will understand that he has this HUGE wall of chalkboard.. I WANT THAT.. i love drawing on chalkboard.. if you make a mistake you just erase it an start again.. simple.. draw, write . ERASE.....

or maybe instead of shufflin i need to erase.. nope .. never look back in regret..so i'm not erasing..
i think starting soon.. LOL.. real soon... hopefully.. i'll start shufflin alittle quicker..
starting this weekend.. i'm off out.. and instead of caring if someone sees me havin a good time i'm goin to go out and have a darn tootin fantastic time..and enjoy those who enjoy being around me.. sometimes.. i think i THINK way too much.. you see my head rarely stops.. i just think.. about everything.. what will they say, how will i feel, is that the right thing to do.. usually i'm too busy thinking about others and how they are that i forget me..
so i might just have to shuffle along......

dont forget PLAY it LOUD... lol.

123 Challenge.....

its the end of the month and i've finally done the 123 challenge for this month..
criteria.... Colour- Brown, Word - Create, Technique - Masking or decorative Tape...
so i created..

yep i did stuff this up.. so sorry..but it still looks okay. and i've said it before.. you cant just show the good..you much show everything..lol.
the title........ and some liquid pearls..now they are easy and oh so fun...

the frame.. i used Tim Holtz paper tape and then doodled a border and some more liquid pearls..and on the photo is Smooch ink and then liquid Pearls.. NOTE>.. dont use smooch on photos it just doesnt dry...

some height...you know me.. gotta have some height..

okay so tomorrow is a NEW month..woohoo...... so what have you got planned.....?????

me.. i;m starting with a bang and goin out with the soccer girls on Sat night.. should be superbly fun..cant wait..

and thats about it with my plans....

PLAYING at BB's...

went to BB's Friday and SAturday night this week to {cough..cough..} help her study and do some scrapping.. so i've shown you 1 of fridays and now for Saturdays.
for part of our local scrap apples group.. BB has set the challenge..and in it was a 2 page instructions for a blind challenge..and Hooley dooley was it a doosy.. needless to say i didnt quite follow all the instructions.. well the first one was a piece of Black cardstock for the background and then a white with black piece of pattern paper...lol.... so here is what i managed...

well i really like the end result even though it doesnt HAVE very much of the materials on the list.. yep NO butterflies, Pearls, Lace or the basics..lol.. its called artistic licence... LOL...
anyho .. some closies.... i used a HEAP from the October Afternoon 5&dime range and some Basic Grey chippies.. all from The Scrapboxx....

the photos.. and the banner title... yay.

a wee bit of journalling.. i really had fun with this one..even though i'm not very good at following instructions..lol.

oh oh..and i have FINALLY started my masters entries.... well i'm part way through one of them.... yay... how are you going????

Kraft It Up.. woohoo..

i went over to BB's last night to do some scrappy and keep her company while she was studying and scrapping.. and i went with the challenges for them month on a list..and this one stood out at me... well this is my first entry at Kraft it UP.. the brief... a Sequence or time line of photos..woohoo...

Zai one of Tarj's teachers is leaving this week and since he absolutely LOVES her heaps and heaps i wanted to do something special for her..and a canvas was perfect since i didnt have a great deal of time.... so

new Bird and MY turn for challenge at BOXX

ANOTHER day another couple of challenges from me.. so first up..
its my turn to set the fortnight challenge at THE BOXX .. so i had been thinkin about the weather after all its a HUGE part of our everyday lives.. and at this time of year it well and truely SUCKS EGGS.. i hate winter... so next up... i thought the closest thing to winter without actually bein in THAT season is AUTUMN..and as per usual my head thinks alittle different..and after all IT is a challenge.... so i want PEEPS to create an AUTUMN page but...and thats a big BUT ...
there is to be NO... Brown, Green, Orange or Yellow..yep the typical AUTUMNal colours.. only exception is RAW Chipboard is allowed..and of course if those colours are in the photo well thats hunky dorey as well..
so here is my example....

i made the flower.. just misted some muslin with glimmermist and then rolled..glued and added a button.... yay.
just some tags hanging out for fun..and the leftover thread from sewing... i didnt cut it off.. alah Leeann Pearce style... YAY. and the letters.. the SPOTTY ones are actually some A/C thickers that i coloured with nail polish and then dotted with signo pen..super easy...
some paint dots and stitching....and then super simple journalling..

woohooo Lou...

Well I'm BAck from the Scrapbooking and Papercraft Expo and i must say i was alittle disappointed this year.. but ONLY in the products avaliable.. SeriOUsly.. i had been hanging off for the last month on getting any NEW pp so i could touch and feel it at the expo.. sounds reasonable..yeah.. well NOT.. there was NO NEW pattern paper anywhere.. the couple of stands that had pp it was all old..like 4 releases old.. CRAP..well i hear you.. so instead i got INK, glimmermist, Masks etc.. my glimmermist now stands at 16 bottle.. wow.. crap didnt realise it was that much..and not all was from the weekend..but seriously when there is 3 for $25 how could you pass that UP...
andyho.. as i went ON and ON and ON about before the expo was the fact that a SUPER amazing Friend {who i still owe} BROUGHT lil ole me a ticket to Louise Nelson "my wish" class... and to say that i LOVED it was an understatement... i wowzeroonied it...not just the end product but the techniques.. i was like.. DEERRRRR of course IDIOT.. seriously.. it was superb..loved it and no wonder because she is an AMAZING lady.....
so without further ado.. i present my version..

ONE Louise Nelson masterpiece.. oh i changed hers... lol.. i added a second photo on the right..and then when i was finishing added the green glimmer to the stalks as well..and also some Glitter Glass on the stems instead of stars...yay.. i love it..so Serenity...and LOVED getting my hands dirty and STICKY..was awesome.. so now i have some inspiration to PLAY..woohoo.... {{I HOPE i did Lou's masterpiece justice...eekk}

on other fronts.. the STUPID book front..i have now finished eclipse and watched the dvd. Belinda gave me "Breaking Dawn" pn Saturday on the way down..and which i am sad to say i have almost finished.. about 3/4 the way through.. i know and its only Monday arvo. it just seems to be so well written i suppose.. i just start reading it and just keep on reading it..just cant put it down..and NOW that is something that i never EVER thought i'd say..but anyho.it happens...

and i even got to help with Angella and the other Scrapmatters with her class on Sunday,,that was fun...

oh and almost forgot.. i Met IRL... Sharmaine, Kim E, Cathy C, Nicole P, Crystal G, Renee D, Sonia T, Annette E, Jess Mack and Elise for the first time on Saturday and YAY its awesome to finally put a proper face and voice to the peeps that i talk to often in this Vertual world. {{i hope i didnt forget anyone..eek.. i hope not.....} anyho. thanks for a great weekend..pity Belinda was ill but oh well.. and LOOKING forward to a more planned and superbly FUN weekend Next year.. YEP already planning next year..LOL... {{ps..if you dont know any of these Artists..just click on them in my sidebar and check them out..such talent..}}
