ok so how do i put this at the side so its always there......?????

Redo the slideshow as a html/java gadget then go into customize and move it around from there

Ok... For a blog list...
When u edit ur blog, go into "add a gadget" and click on "link list"... (the + sign).
Follow the prompts..and fill out the title, url, and new url site name.
And you should be good to go! Happy blogging.
