Heike gave me the new June TICKLEZ kit to have a play with.....

so i created..

why hello.. how are we all.. coming down from our expo weekend HIGH.. i know i am.. i just want to play but alas... only in small doses it seems......

i'm just popping in to share some ScrapMatts with you..

i posted these on scrapmatts ning site before the

weekend but ran out of time to post here..so....

this month is all about you.. well .. 

I cheated.. YUP

so i created.. about some things i LOVE.... and with that.. the time

my kids spend with their papa.. my dad the most amazing man i know..

"Discover Adventure"

 and some closies.. have a look.... at right ^^^^^ there..that lovely texture paste.. IVY so kindly helped with that bit there.. i tried to scrape it off but NO... so  i just had to add MORE...lol.. closies..

 so to create the drawn frame its actually the left over from the sheet that the Ornate frames were on..yup..and then a Scrapmatts tree and chippy words...
and then we have something else I love.. i love old bridges..and discovered this one on my way to Lennox Head the first time i went there..and then each time i go back i SLOW down to a crawl just to drool over it ever time.....
"Things I Love"

 woohoo.. have a look at how awesome that heritage fence came out... love it..

 its a mix of stamp pad, smooch inks and paint... lots of layers.. and i love the effect.. was a pat on the back moment for me... hehehe..

so thats it for today.. i'll be back to share with you my entry that was in the top 20 for the Black, White and One challenge that was displayed at the expo... but for now this is me signing off..

Hello World

HI all.. how's things... pretty good i hope...

so anyho.. The Month of JUNE is my turn to set the challenge over at 

SCRAPMATTS...

so whats the challenge.. well i went with a typical Lj challenge.. a song challenge with a twist...

so the song is

"Hello World" by Lady Antebellum

so have a listen and a watch..... 

so you've done it.. did you need tissues.. oh i maybe should've warned you about that..

well now for the twist..

YOU must use at least ONE piece of RAW chippie... scrapmatts style..

so there you have it..so much inspiration from this.. the title, the vision, the song words, the feeling you

get from the song..

i got.. Cherish the little things....

and some close ups.....

used some fun Scrapmatts Gears {cb1078} , a Rainbow Splendour doily and a Lil

Red Rocket robot button... 

a long title.. because i just love them... lots of different fonts and sizes..as well at the word "little" {cb4055}

is in fact a word from scrapmatts.. just covered in two different types of glitter....

and the insides of the ornate frames {cb 4056} and some hinges just to finish it off {cb1125}..

and then the outside of one of those above mentioned ornate frames {cb4056}.. and a little 

Charms Creations lovely lollipop to finish and add just a smide of colour..

so there you have it..

how are you all.. just here to share a couple of latest creations featuring some of my favourite handmade products....

first up is a lil layout about my boy and his first yappying experience..

and next up we have something i did for our local challenge group..was all about texture and had to have YELLOW as a predominate colour..

I've had that crafters workshop cloud stencil sitting around for a while and had never used it..so i had a little fun.. unfortunately though I have ran out of texture paste.. its become such a vital and necessary tool for me that i'm seriously going to have to get more and SOON...

i had started this layout and wasnt going anywhere fast UNTIL the lovely postman pat arrived with a parcel from Lil Red Rocket.. that fixed everything and i ended up using 3 things from the pack.. the Yellow polka dot button and the cute journal card.. so FUN!!

and a denim Pinwheel from Rainbow Splendour and a flag from Lil Red Rocket.......

and to finish it off.. a super cute balloon from ScrapMatts... yay....
love the height in this one.. its pretty simple really but oh so fun...
so the countdown is officially ON.. the Papercrafts expo is on really soon in Brissy and if you are going i will be on the ScrapMatts stand ALL day on the saturday so call in and say howdy..and then on the sunday.. {SQUEEL}.. i 'm doing Louise Nelson's class. .yay.. did one of hers last year and there was no question that i was going to be doing it again this YEAR... and i will also just be cruising around with my peeps so excited..yay..

This Month at SHOW US YOUR STUFF we got to do two amazing things... get inspiration from Stacey Young .. inparticular creating a textured background.. look HERE...

see what amazing fun with that background.. LOVED getting my hands dirty... and then loved throwing the randomness in there.. was such a fun layout for me...

see the Heavenly Heart and the Lovely Lollipops {used a couple couldnt help it} and then some of my other favourite handmade peeps... the Felt flower and felt lady bug from Rainbow Splendour and the owl button and vintage camera journalling card from Lil Red Rocket and then of course some raw chippies from ScrapMatts..

another closie of the journalling..... and the randomness of the top corner..

and the simple title... it just happened.... love that part.. and i love this photo was taken last year when they were both still at Mirambeena childcare centre.. LOVE it.. so cute and the background of the photo just matched perfectly with the creating background technique..

Today is full of Rainbow... splendour that is...

today i've decided that since its alittle well.. brisk out side today that i'd add some Rainbows to my day. Rainbow Splendour that is..LOL... so i'm sharing a layout that i created a while back at Gilly's ..inspiration by the most amazing Renee Iveson..she'd done this page using yellow background with the swipes of blue..so i cheated and copied that idea..and then went from there..and this is what happened....

but i'm here today to share some ScrapMatts Inspired projects.............

so first up i have a layout that was recently {a couple months ago} published in Scrapbooking Memories so YEP you probably have seen it..LOL..

for this project i used just about all the possible combinations available in the scrapmatts gears range..

cb 1072 Gears 01, cb 5005 Gear Frame 01 ..{for this one i actually cut it so that i could use it at the top of the photo as well as a spot down the bottom as an anchor}, cb 1078 Gears 05, cb 4049 Original Moving Gears (A4) but i used not the gears from this pack but the washers....

and then anothery.. this time one of my older sister Michelle.. yep my older sister..its so rare to actually get a photo of her..

so what about that hey.. LOL.. and can you see some of my favourite brands mixed in there with the Scrapmatts.. some Lil Red Rocket buttons and a rainbow splendour felt doiley...... oh and THANKS Sharmaine of 4 dollops fame for the inspiration with the chevron Crafters Workshop template... YUM......

the journalling... and the scrapmatts frame from the cb 4056 Ornate Frames 13 A4 pack. .yep A4 and lots of gorgeousness in those frames i can guarantee that....... dont forget the green Gingham Lil Red Rocket button...

and can you see the other lil red rocket button.. and the gorgeously Green Felt doily from Rainbow Splendour...
so then i created a card.. yep an unusual shaped card at that.... but hey...

yep see told you was different shaped.. LOL... and a closie..

here i used the cb 5058 Heart Frames.. you get the circle and the heart PLUS some extras.. and cb 1157 Assorted Words 06.. just simply coloured with sharpie and then i went over them with the Stardust pens {also available at scrapmatts} and then covered in the scrapmatts 3d gloss.. love that STUFF.. {which reminds me that i need some more}... lol..
and yep you guessed it anothery.. {oh which reminds me that i still {super slack arse} have some more layouts from the retreat at Gillys that i still havent shown  yet}..lol...
"All Star"

oh cute is that photo.. just him on his bike.. duck to water he was i must say..he is a HOON on his bike.. so with this one i kept it pretty simple.. just used some cb 5032 Mini Frames 02 to well frame bits.. just random framing and then added some little journalling spots and randoms in there as well.but i LOVE the effect of it..
