i came here tonight with the sole purpose of just sharing a layout..and well instead there is probably goin to be some ramblings of my mind.. since it IS my blog i think that i am allowed to..so please just skip to the comments and make sure you leave me one if you dont want to listen to my ramblings.. NOW...

ok... so your still here.. well i've put the house on the market.. yep i'm selling up and movin onto NEW and exciting pastures.. well maybe not superbly lushious and green but pastures non the less... and in my cleaning spree i have been thinking.. thinking about a house i want to rent.. and how the ONE must is that it has a making room or just some where... i have the need to create.. and i'm not just talking about scrapping.. you see i mindlessly spent 2 years doin a visual arts course..yeah sure it was coz i didnt want to study i just wanted to waste my brain.. do something mind numbing where i dont have to think just do... and now that feeling has been starting to come back to me.. you see...during my course on of the things i really really loved was Life drawing..yep.. LIFE drawing.. having a model come in where i can pick apart part of their body .. and feel free to do what i pleased with it.... i love that.. but i can tell you that at the start it really really wasnt like that.. you see i was a very...... well........ umm not sure how to say it but.. probably naive no no no not naive but not ..well travelled.. putting it nicely..as a matter of fact i havent even been anywhere.. {ps this is in code so yeah read into it..}...yep i hadnt even left the block.. i wasnt the person people wanted so i was just me.. and then to be thrown into a world of ART where life in all its forms is embraced even worshipped was a REAL learning curve for me..but in the end was something that i liked the most.. anyho. to cut a long story short i think i might go back in the new year and do a couple life drawing courses.. mmm something to think about .but in the mean time i think i might just have to find me some pencils or even a canvas or two and start to do ..well just stuff..i remember what it felt like to create.. to draw or paint or my favourite to PRINT something that i liked.. what i felt like doing.. i must admit i'm no where near being a good artist or even an mediocure one.. but i dont care. i think i just want to be able to do again.. anyho thats my rant.. over said its out there.. now to see if i actually do anything in the new year.. fingers crossed that this house sells quickly and i can get onto things that i want.. {i'm still deciding exactly what i want ... but you know what i mean}.. anyho....i'll leave with this.. he is currently hangin in my bedroom.. {opposite a female form..but i wont show that one..contains nudity..lol..]

new Bird and MY turn for challenge at BOXX

ANOTHER day another couple of challenges from me.. so first up..
its my turn to set the fortnight challenge at THE BOXX .. so i had been thinkin about the weather after all its a HUGE part of our everyday lives.. and at this time of year it well and truely SUCKS EGGS.. i hate winter... so next up... i thought the closest thing to winter without actually bein in THAT season is AUTUMN..and as per usual my head thinks alittle different..and after all IT is a challenge.... so i want PEEPS to create an AUTUMN page but...and thats a big BUT ...
there is to be NO... Brown, Green, Orange or Yellow..yep the typical AUTUMNal colours.. only exception is RAW Chipboard is allowed..and of course if those colours are in the photo well thats hunky dorey as well..
so here is my example....
N O T.. this is what happened when i was playing and well even i can spot a CRAPHOUSE work if i see it..so i turned the board over and started again..so here is my example..

Well I'm BAck from the Scrapbooking and Papercraft Expo and i must say i was alittle disappointed this year.. but ONLY in the products avaliable.. SeriOUsly.. i had been hanging off for the last month on getting any NEW pp so i could touch and feel it at the expo.. sounds reasonable..yeah.. well NOT.. there was NO NEW pattern paper anywhere.. the couple of stands that had pp it was all old..like 4 releases old.. CRAP..well i hear you.. so instead i got INK, glimmermist, Masks etc.. my glimmermist now stands at 16 bottle.. wow.. crap didnt realise it was that much..and not all was from the weekend..but seriously when there is 3 for $25 how could you pass that UP...
andyho.. as i went ON and ON and ON about before the expo was the fact that a SUPER amazing Friend {who i still owe} BROUGHT lil ole me a ticket to Louise Nelson "my wish" class... and to say that i LOVED it was an understatement... i wowzeroonied it...not just the end product but the techniques.. i was like.. DEERRRRR of course IDIOT.. seriously.. it was superb..loved it and no wonder because she is an AMAZING lady.....
so without further ado.. i present my version..

so there you have it.. ONE Louise Nelson masterpiece.. oh i changed hers... lol.. i added a second photo on the right..and then when i was finishing added the green glimmer to the stalks as well..and also some Glitter Glass on the stems instead of stars...yay.. i love it..so Serenity...and LOVED getting my hands dirty and STICKY..was awesome.. so now i have some inspiration to PLAY..woohoo.... {{I HOPE i did Lou's masterpiece justice...eekk}

on other fronts.. the STUPID book front..i have now finished eclipse and watched the dvd. Belinda gave me "Breaking Dawn" pn Saturday on the way down..and which i am sad to say i have almost finished.. about 3/4 the way through.. i know and its only Monday arvo. it just seems to be so well written i suppose.. i just start reading it and just keep on reading it..just cant put it down..and NOW that is something that i never EVER thought i'd say..but anyho.it happens...

and i even got to help with Angella and the other Scrapmatters with her class on Sunday,,that was fun...

oh and almost forgot.. i Met IRL... Sharmaine, Kim E, Cathy C, Nicole P, Crystal G, Renee D, Sonia T, Annette E, Jess Mack and Elise for the first time on Saturday and YAY its awesome to finally put a proper face and voice to the peeps that i talk to often in this Vertual world. {{i hope i didnt forget anyone..eek.. i hope not.....} anyho. thanks for a great weekend..pity Belinda was ill but oh well.. and LOOKING forward to a more planned and superbly FUN weekend Next year.. YEP already planning next year..LOL... {{ps..if you dont know any of these Artists..just click on them in my sidebar and check them out..such talent..}}
