its SCRAPBOXX time again..yay..... so i got to do the Book Of You kits again..

and these are what i came up with....

yep thats LIL ole ME.... in 1984.. yep..cute ..lol..heheheee...

and then..

"My Bliss"

i LOVE this photo... and i loved how this simple clean but alittle quirky layout ended up.. just had to repeat the photo...

and THEN..

"Prince Funny"
when i was picking the gear for this kit that frog was on the front of the pink paislee packet as the photo..and then well i based the REST of the kit around it..so i just HAD to make sure i used it..

did you see the second photo in here.. i loved how that ended up with the part circle photo..

and THEN>.....

"One Rainy Day.."
again i just had to use the lil girl..so cute...

i made some flowers and clouds for this one..oh and do you love the top.. i do .. its one of the Emmas shoppe borders..coolio..

so arent you all extremely happy.. i had to hold back and only put 1 closie up for all the layouts..since there were 4 and all..but seriously i HAD more closies... so anyho...

Scrap the Girls.. GRUNGE style...

so i have done my first challenge for the month.. it is the scrap the girls May challenge,...
"Scrap a layout based on an important female in your life. Extra criteria: more than 20 words of handwritten journalling"...
so i thought i'd give this one a why not go... so i had a look.. and since i've already done a layout of my MA recently {{yep yet to be seen}} i thought i'd do one of my Big Sister....
and well things didnt quite go to plan.. it started out with a great big... AHH CRAP...

see.. i was folding the foldies but didnt watch what i'm doin and stuck it in the yet to dry black paint.. crap.. so i could've taken the easy way out and tossed it..but instead i fixed it...
and here is the result...

YEP thats right peeps.. it kind of went on the grunge side of GIRL.. lol... but you know what i really like it.. it just suits Michelles personality to a T.. she isnt a girly girl... and she's alittle grunge... so yay..

the Journalling...oh and to make the butterfly work alittle better .. i went over it with black sharpie and then coloured it...

yep i hear ya.. so the SBM Mag are having a comp this year for the EXPO in June.. its criteria was... EXPRESS YOURSELF.. yep you had to do a layout with a pic of YOU in it..
now this is nothing to be sneezed at..some peeps like ME hate their photos taken and others just have trouble doin a page on theirselves... but for me .. i took a pledge to myself to do some more pages of ME... so here is MINE...
"Less Than PERFECT"
yep a thousand layers.. heaps of SCRAPMATTS and lots of different bits and pieces.. yep RANDOM...lol... and yep the title is from P!NKs Perfect song..... YEP its down the bottom...

heaps of scrapmatts... wrought iron fence [cb4041], clocks [cb1107], wings [cb1120], gears [cb1078] and the dress form [6052]... so i dressed the lady in a patchwork skirt complete with trim...and those wings.. can i just say OMfreakingGoodness i LOVE those... i am so proud of how this turned out...

and the side.. yep i sewed some fabric around as a matt for the photo section..
and some rolled and curled edges and some stitching....

CAndy came for a visit yesterday..and we scrapped for a while..i mean i so EEK that lady.. she is the most awesome scrapper but just hasnt the time at the moment..but 1 layout completed and a couple finished so you should be seeing some new stuff from her real soon... well fingers crossed...

bitter sweet day today.

Its MY day today over at Lil Red Rocket so i thought i'd share some newbies with Shells awesomeness....
a little layout about Tarj.. i really should've journalled on it the differences in a couple of years.. the first few time he went to the beach he freaked and NOW he loves it.. so thats a good thing.. i think.yep definately....

and the title.. now did you have a good look at this layout because if you count it.. i think there is 9 different Brands represented in this layout.. now i am a firm believer in product mixing..and i think this totally shows it...

okay and now for some thing i just have to say.. today is my 1st anniversery.. today makes it a whole YEAR since i became SINGLE, a single mum.. the day i asked my partner to leave.. the day i started to take my life BACK and although its been hard i still believe with all my heart that it was the right decision to make, both for me and the kids... and as most of you know .. You guys have been my ROCK over this past year.. so although to tell you the truth i'm not totally sure what or how i am supposed to be feeling today.. its a happy day but also one that is still full of crap.. yep .. CRAP .. there is still so much to be sorted and while the kids and i are adjusting pretty well its still a huge learning curve .. and so on that note I thank YOU.. [[oh and also my parents.. there support.. PRICELESS]]..
