March in Review

i'm in this group at the boxx.. Created by the most awesome Gilly... so here is my March in review...the layout is inspired by the fantastic Nicole Pomeroy

Random stitching has returned... so have those pesky butterflies..LOL..
it was fun creating a mini layout on the page.. inspiration central Nicole..

You Inspire Me..
I've had this pic of Ivy for a while but was unsure what to do.. then this challenge came along.
this is what i had to be inspired by..LSS challenge.. the result.

i made the ribbon into some yummy flowers.

this is my second for today.. Inspired by the COLOR ROOM... used the Her palette for a him page.. fun...

okay so this is the last page i'm doing about myself for a while.. and the last with that door...LOL...{cept maybe a special one that you'll all see later}.. but yay..

just incase you were wondering the journalling reads....when you ask people why they scrap you'll get the most common answer for my kids, so they'll have heaps of memories of what we did and who they were growing up... and i say pigs arse to that.. sure thats a by product but for me its about the quiet time, the ME time, when i get to be creative, arty, even my true self. so take it or leave it. scrappin is fun, addictive, mental and even alittle random, but most importantly its all about ME... and a way to preserve our family history and remember the fun times..LOL... oh and i nearly forgot about ME making new friends...

so there you have it.. alittle random.. but its me.

on a brighter note

okey dokey.. so i did a layout over the weekend..not sure if i like it but its abit of fun.. started okay then tried something with the paper and it didnt work so i just kept goin..
totally addicted to dyno tape at the moment..the journalling on a paper doiley.. interesting... might try it again
this definately wont fit into an album..so much height..hard to tell by pic but the highest part is about and Inch to Inch and half high.. just went with the flow.

layout was done for a local challenge group and it was to scrap something you did etc for the first time....

what a morning.. couple days..

okay so this is what has happened... yesterday i played soccer and got kicked in the knee... so i have an awesome bruise... cool hey...
then Tarj in his words "was just making Ivy Beautful..".. yep you guessed it cut her hair..
this is the front view.. little missing from fringe.. not too bad
and the back..little chunks taken out..

the infamous scissors... so quick run to Belindas for her to fix.. she did great job, she didnt end up having to cut Ivys hair up to the chunks but was able to add some layers.. feeeew.... oh and between the chop and lunch, i've had Ivy forget to go to the toilet a few times, including at Belindas in Jetts room.. and then Tarj be sick everywhere... YAY for me....LOL.

in the life of me

Hello people ... just a quick update.. i've been home this easter break so i know i should be updating but i just havent... sorry... anyho.. Worked FRiday {took some photos}, Worked at my proper job Saturday and today i ate some chocolate.. sent people texts early in the morn.. just coz i can..LOL>.. went visiting for Rods family, had a nanny nap.. did the dinner thing, put the kids to bed and now am here visiting.. oh I forgot I've done a new layout which i should photo and post tomorrow.. bit fun and only has alittle bit of black. Thank goodness all that black was wearing me down... Anyho.. this is an example of the photos i took on Friday a friend is having an art exhibition and i am taking the photo that will be on the brochure etc for it.. so yeah...

and thats about all for me.. hoping to do a layout tomorrow.. I'm having withdrawals since i didnt get my ME day Friday {which i scrap with no interuptions and peace and quiet.. You get the picture}....
Happy days everyone.. and i'd give some SUGAR but i'm thinkin that everyones probably all over the thought of sugar..so i'll say it nicely.. Have some LOVIN everyone....
