sometimes it feels just right....

You know some days it feels just right to sit down and take some time out for yourself.. While my man was outside creating his "mantique" {his word for restoring a old kitchen hutch and making it into a cabinet to store the "STUFF" he collects}, I decided to have a play..

{forgive me for my dumbness.. but i haven't blogged for a while and quite frankly just couldnt be bothered moving things around..... BUT this was actually the second layout i did today... whoops... }

"Colour Is Life"

I had actually made this background about a month or so ago but didnt like it so i gave up and left it sitting on the table and walked off... and only just having returned to the scrappy desk today and found it.... so i cheated a little and brought it back to life... well gave it a life.....

I love these photos ... Tarj in all his weirdness.. One day he just decided that to draw on the driveway he NEEDED to wear his cricket helmet...... yep.. I KNOW RIGHT?!

 Next up.. well it was the first for the day.....

"Love Is..."

 well... where to start... i wanted to create.. sat down and discovered i had NO grey backing board that i always use.. and i had NO texture paste.. so i had to do something else instead.. this piece of PP was on the desk. apparently miss Ivy had it out... {who knows why}.. so it was a sign this had to be used...

So i just went for it....

I created the whole layout without knowing what photo or what theme it was going to be.. just played..

i even did the unthinkable in scrapbooking terms.. i used.. .NAIL POLISH and painted the title RIGHT onto the photo.. oh i know.. i'm bad.. .but hey i create for me and just go with the flow...

 the fence is a Scrapmatts chippy .. covered in SOMETHING.. i have no idea what its called.. or if i even used it "correctly".. I was given a little bag of it ... i cant even remember when and its been sitting with my stuff... and today i thought i'll give it a go.. randomly put some glue on the chippy, sprinkled the stuff.. shook the excess off and heat gunned it... i LOVE IT.. i want more.. NOW to find out what IT is????

 so there you have it.. i created.. i loved it.. i NOW have a list of ESSENTIALS i need to get... oh and photos to scrap as well..
