and i am here to share..
i recently set the challenge at the Boxx to scrap something that is a big deal in your life... so here is my example....
"New Home Flowers"

and since its been a little while... i used the February Boxx sketch for the inspiration.. have a look you can kind of see it there..... hehehee....
Some closies.. used my favourite hand made products again!!!
some ScrapMatts clover leaves, a Mimiko Mim flower. some Lil Red Rocket button and the flowers at the bottom of page, a Bow from Rainbow Splendour and the bird {below} and doiley from The Chip Chop Shop...
a LOOOONNNG title.. i love these.. i reckon they look great..so give one a go........
see... how coolio is that flower from Lil Red Rocket.. also the ferns are from ScrapMatts....yay.. and then the other day .. Tarj got asked to one of his new preppie buddies birthday party..so i had to make a card.. yep.....

first up...

i havent been in blog land for a week or two now..and i am so sorry... i havent blogged and i havent look at anyones either ..so so sorry.. so lets just pretend that this is the start.....
hi ... my name is Leanne.. most scrappers call me Lj due to the number of Leannes that scrap... seriously.. there are quite alot.... so ..alittle about me.
i'm a single mum of two.. Tarj who is 5 (and YES just started Prep..woot woot...)
and then a super cheeky Ivy who is 4....
i have just sold the house that i used to share with my ex and am starting a whole new chapter of my life.. and seriously life at the moment is SWEET...
i'm on a couple of design teams.. The Scrapboxx... ScrapMatts {the bestest chippies EVER}.. Lil Red Rocket {hand made buttons and other gorgeousness} and Show Us Your Stuff {a challenge site which promotes the use of hand made goodies....}... so thats about it..and the reason for todays post is Show Us Your Stuff....
its the second challenge of the month and you have until the 15th of March to get your entries in..
and the criteria..
*at Least 3 Pattern Papers
*at Least 3 Embellishments
*a HEART {it is love month}
and * some Paint....
so here is my example...

the bird cage..yep there is my paint..... another scrapmatts.. bird Cage 04 (cb4036)

and lastly... a SUPERB lil red rocket button..how super CUTE is that... with a heart {cb1069} from scrapmatts...

so i've nearly finished setting up my new Scrap Room.. yes its HUGE... photos will come once its set up...... lol... and then its right back into it and i cant wait...

why hello blogger land peeps... i know i 've been super dooper amazingly quiet of late.. HAVE ya missed me have have YA..huh..huh?? lol. {no seriously have ya??}
anyho. its my day over at Scrapmatts.... and OMG seriously when the super amazing Sofie and Andrew sent my latest products to me i thought HOLY CRAP this stuff is delicious.. scrummy even.... and so multi purpose... so i created.. yep.. was supposed to be packing...whoops..lol... the theme for the month was Nature, Bugs Insects etc... and SHOCK horror i dont have any photos of the kids with any type of insects.. Snakes yep {which reminds me that i really should get them printed.....}... so i resorted to the gazillion photos of Serenity..and found one that was absolutely freaking PERFECT.......so i created this layout....

see the new stuff.. i'll point it out in the closies and then do yourself a favour and go and visit the shop and snavel some of them up.......

oh oh and some Lil Red Rocket..yep the rosette flower and the coolio dotty button.....so the scrapmatts FERNS {cb1155 ferns 01}how amazing.. i've used them as leaves but hey.. whatever floats your boat..
and then just to add that lil somfin somfin up the top.. the Leaves.{cb1157 leaves 03}. squished in paint.. yum.oh oh and the background painty bit is a The Crafters Workshop template and paint with texture paste......
then i wanted some viney twiny stuff but wanted to help frame it so used some Flourishes...{cb4026 Flourishes}... just left them RAW baby..or i shouldve said Naked Baby..lol...
and i didnt want..or more to the point couldnt find the right spot for a big title..so just found a quote and cut it up and used it down the side.. who said you need a great big smack you up the chops title... i think it works...??maybe..lol....and then.. W A I T for it.. a CARD.. yep i know thats a couple of months in a row now...!!!!! and with February being LOVE month.. we for those of you who arent desperate and dateless that is.. bahahahaaa......

so there you have it.. i have started another layout.. living out of boxes and suitcases at the moment but the count down is DEFINATELY on until i'm into my very own place... SWEET as cherry pie...!!!... so i'm hoping to finish it Friday night before i pack it definately away before my new place complete with scrappy goodness room.......

so anyho. happy days..and LOVE ya guts.....
